The 2020 global pandemic created this fear of death and age in our society. Elders were looked at as collateral damage to keep our economy by some, while the aged community fear for their lives. Inspired by the beauty and wisdom, this performance art piece “Laundry Service” and the synonymous concept collection is a tribute to our elders, and hoping more will see their grey hair and lines on their faces as gold, like the gold mending in kintsugi.
